Academic research has shown that in almost any group of respondents, everyone does something else right. So, sharing knowledge among group members avoids reinventing the wheel and saves time.
Big time!
Hence, the "My buddies"-page:
When clicking on the tile on the home page (or the hamburger menu in the mobile version), a Buddy Map becomes visible:
This network shows the 'owner' of the Personal Virtual Consultant in the middle with the other group members that have been selected to help each other. The circle diagram shows how much knowledge can be shared by this small network, a subset of a larger network with all respondents in the group. Respondents are connected via an algorithm that ensures that everyone gives and receives knowledge and that no single individual gets over-demanded.
By selecting a question from the "Who can help you with:"-dropdown, you will see below which group members from this Buddy Map can help with that Question. When asking them for help, they will probably ask for a return favor and help with a Question they need to improve.
You can click on the image of each of the buddies to see more details about that person, see the Questions about where you can help them, and they can help you, and how to contact them.
Clicking on the Send email button opens the default email editor of the user and creates a new mail with the email address as the ‘To’-value and the Question as the ‘Subject header.’ This makes reaching out to colleagues/peers even easier.
