Who sets targets
The target setting features in PRAIORITIZE also contain some further refinements. The most important is the possibility of delegating who sets the targets. In "MY AUDIENCES" > "EDIT THIS AUDIENCE" > "DEFINE RESPONDENTS" > "ORGANIGRAM," it is possible to make the first selection: keep the target set at the level of the Assessment Owner or delegate it to, e.g., the department managers? Click on "WHO SETS TARGETS" to select.
What the Virtual Consultants show
The target setting is always limited to one party. If, say, the Assessment Owner AND the department heads could set a target, they might easily ask conflicting things from a manager. In PRAIORITIZE, the person who can set targets sees all the targets to make a proper selection. All others only see the target that has been selected. In PRAIORITIZE thinking, it would either confuse the other people if they see targets they can't choose or if discussions start about alternative targets. If that happens, it's up to the person setting the target to communicate the choices made.
For example, here you see that the Assessment Coordinator views all the targets on the 'Global Virtual Consultant' and can add new targets him-/herself. The selected target is "Minimum Comfort" (1); there is a description of where this "Minimum Comfort"-target is all about, and clicking the "View this target"-icon reveals which questions/answers are part of this target. Considering the improvement score, the length of the Praiority list, the calculated support for the target, and the capacity to change, you could decide to click open another target and click "Select this target" (4) or opt to create a new target altogether (5).
On the Group Virtual Consultant of Department B, we'll see only the selected target (1). The department's manager can view but not edit it, and the "New Target" option is also gone.
If the target-setting authority were cascaded down to the department level, we would see the reverse. The department level would see all the targets to choose from (and the possibility to add a new target), and the Global Virtual Consultant would only see the result.
In PRAIORITIZE, the target-setting authority is a 'global setting' for that assessment. ONLY the Assessment Coordinator or ALL the departments or ALL the roles can set a target. For example, it is not possible to let only a few departments set their own target, and all the other departments fall under the target setting of the Assessment Coordinator.
