The My Questionnaires > General Setttings page contains four elements.
1. Name the Questionnaire
Obviously, it's mandatory to give the Questionnaire a title (unless you downloaded it from the store or had it created by PRAIORITIZE's artificial intelligence). We recommend you keep this title informative, short, and inviting.
2. Decide on the language
The reason for choosing a language is twofold. Firstly, when creating an Assessment, later on, PRAIORITIZE will check whether the Questions and Answers in the Questionnaire match the language of the texts with which the Audience will be addressed (e.g., the introduction text that respondents see when starting to answer the Assessment). Secondly, when you have indicated the language of the Questionnaire, all suggestions made by the artificial intelligence will be in that language.
The default language of the Questionnaires in the store is English. But if your Audience is French-speaking, you need to translate the Questionnaire you just downloaded in English into French. Or you have so much success with your French questionnaire that your headquarters have asked you to develop an English version for global distribution. In both situations, click the "PREVIEW YOUR TRANSLATION"-button:
Once you click this button, a pop-up shows the translation:
If you click the "CLOSE THIS WINDOW"-button, nothing gets translated, and the pop-up will close. If you click "SAVE," a copy of the Questionnaire will be made in the chosen language (here: French):
TIP: Usually, the translation is OK, but you might notice a few textual aspects that require your tweaking.
Just let PRAIORITIZE create the copy in the new language and do the editing in that copy yourself. After all, you have all the A.I. support available (like the "HELP ME PRAIORITIZE"-buttons) to help finalize the finishing touches.
3. Decide on score colors
In the PRAIORITIZE Global and Group Virtual Consultants, several visualizations add a color coding to scores to improve the readability of some graphs (like the "Grid Map" for the Global and Group Virtual Consultants) and facilitate comparing scores (e.g., among departments). This color coding is expressed in red, amber, and green (RAG). The default RAG values of 3 and 6 suffice for most assessments. If, however, scores are almost all very good (or very bad), some graphs will turn entirely green (or red), severely compromising their readability. In such a situation, modifying these RAG values might be a welcome relief.
TIP: Although it's possible to deviate from the Questionnaire's default RAG setting for individual Topics or Sub-Topics, we usually recommend keeping one pair of RAG values for the entire Questionnaire.
4. Activate the improvement steps
While still building up your step-by-step improvements by hand, you do not want to show a half-product to respondents. Keep this box unchecked as long as you’re busy constructing. When done, check this box to release all your improvement content in one go. If you use the A.I. Add-on section to generate the improvement steps, these steps will be generated in one go and in the language as defined in the General Settings. Experience shows that PRAIORITIZE users overwhelmingly choose to use this Add-on; the default setting for the activation is always on/checked.
